Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Gudhem's Billy Dahlberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Losada, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Alan Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 17th minute, Clemente Prejun made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Sverker Lindgren came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco. But to his dismay, Alan Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. A collision led to Gudhem getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Wiktor Mikaelsson hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Alan Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alan Velasco put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Lindgren. In the 42nd minute, Ariel Estefan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curumalán AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After some careless play in the Gudhem defense, Alan Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Lindgren. The Gudhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-11 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Gudhem defense, Ariel Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Lindgren. The Gudhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Curumalán AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alan Velasco in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Isaias Baudelio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Clemente Prejun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sverker Lindgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Prejun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 60th minute. Hernán Losada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ariel Estefan took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Prejun in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverker Lindgren saved Gudhem from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Isaias Baudelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sverker Lindgren. Isaias Baudelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. With an all-out effort, Curumalán AFC's Sverker Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hernán Losada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clemente Prejun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sverker Lindgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Prejun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 75th minute. With an all-out effort, Curumalán AFC's Sverker Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolás Domingo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the match, Clemente Prejun notched a goal, 0-17, to the right of Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curumalán AFC played a much better game than Gudhem and deserved their victory. The Gudhem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
