After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Augusto Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Ishmael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Lo Iacono got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Style f.c's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Prejun. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Clemente Prejun got a free kick in the 19th minute. Federico Marsilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Velasco in the 25th minute. Amado Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Vieri in the 30th minute of play. Amado Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Firmani in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alan Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Marsilio was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Alberto Firmani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Amado Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Firmani in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Damiano Mian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Alan Velasco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Marsilio didn't even have to move. Gonzo Style f.c's Augusto Vieri got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Firmani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Davide Zisser shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Ishmael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Firmani in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Ishmael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Galli to maneuver through the defense. Federico Marsilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Velasco's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Alan Velasco hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Augusto Vieri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael. Amado Ishmael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Alberto Firmani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Estefan in the 71st minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Federico Marsilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Alan Velasco put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Marsilio. Amado Ishmael came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Firmani. But to his dismay, Alberto Firmani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Marsilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Velasco in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes Gonzo Style f.c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Velasco who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Clemente Prejun to score against Federico Marsilio in Gonzo Style f.c's goal. 2-2 after 84 minutes. In the 86th minute Hernán Losada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Marsilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernán Losada scored 3-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Marsilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davide Zisser's late challenge caught a Curumalán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davide Zisser helped the player get up and apologised. Davide Zisser kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Curumalán AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gonzo Style f.c had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
