When Billy Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gudhem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goalkeeper Sverker Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Gaitano. Valter Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Valter Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gudhem's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Erruki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteve Harkaitz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Hever during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gudhem booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billy Dahlberg made a kick off. If Folke Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Gudhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gudhem's Valter Olofsson tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to INTER de Córdoba getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lorenzo Llorienzo hit a great ball. Billy Dahlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Erruki came out and tried to block the shot, but Billy Dahlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. Billy Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The INTER de Córdoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Gudhem succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though INTER de Córdoba had controlled the match.
