In the 5th minute, Galaxy Team U18's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rigoberto Hechter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Adan Francho could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Lucjan Gierlach however easily saved by the left post. In the 12th minute Rigoberto Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galaxy Team U18's Zbyszek Gmoch managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermegildo Otsando in the 13 minute of the game. Lucjan Gierlach was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Artemio Abancens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Abancens really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Feliberto Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match WINNING ELEVEN got a corner. Galaxy Team U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Rafel ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Lichucki in the 22nd minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Galaxy Team U18 from getting a goal against them. Feliberto Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Adan Francho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucjan Gierlach was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 39 minutes, Marcial Rafel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WINNING ELEVEN and the Galaxy Team U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of WINNING ELEVEN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galaxy Team U18:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

WINNING ELEVEN's Feliberto Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Lichucki in the 53rd minute of play. WINNING ELEVEN's Rigoberto Hechter got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Robert Przybyciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Rafel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucjan Gierlach. Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Galaxy Team U18's Zbyszek Gmoch managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermegildo Otsando in the 69 minute of the game. Kazimierz Lichucki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Feliberto Ortle firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 76 minutes, Robert Przybyciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy Team U18 and the WINNING ELEVEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artemio Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Gierlach having to interfere. If Adan Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Francho in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Gierlach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galaxy Team U18 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for WINNING ELEVEN.
