The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Nicolás Domingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curumalán AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gonzo Style f.c the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Nicolás Domingo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute of the match Curumalán AFC got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alan Velasco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Firmani hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Augusto Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amado Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Firmani in the 16th minute of play. Alan Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Firmani in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Losada. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Vieri got free with Amado Ishmael in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Estefan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Marsilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alan Velasco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Marsilio. In the 31st minute Ariel Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Marsilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Velasco struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Federico Marsilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. In the 35thth minute of the game Alan Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Marsilio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Firmani made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Ishmael was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Augusto Vieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 47 in the game by Alberto Firmani from a close distance when the talented Amado Ishmael managed to make a qualified save. Curumalán AFC's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Lo Iacono got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Vieri in the 55th minute of play. Hernán Losada charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernán Losada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Hernán Losada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curumalán AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Davide Zisser was slow to take the kick. During this time Gonzo Style f.c's players had a chance to rest. Davide Zisser made a great header on Gonzo Style f.c's corner, it was just that Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 60th minute, Alberto Firmani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Firmani in the 64th minute of play. Alberto Firmani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ishmael having to interfere. Federico Marsilio stood somewhat misplaced when Alan Velasco came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Federico Marsilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Velasco in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Alan Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Marsilio was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 75 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Signoretti. Ariel Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Federico Marsilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Marsilio stood somewhat misplaced when Alan Velasco came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 89 minute. 96 minutes into the match, Alan Velasco notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Marsilio. Federico Marsilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Curumalán AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
