Sérgio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvo Lapp in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mait Vask in the 8th minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mait Vask's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Mait Vask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mait Vask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tauno Veevo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Viplala's Jüri Alango got control of the ball when Norberto Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Santana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Jüri Alango when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Pascoal Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jüri Alango was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mait Vask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Passos having to interfere. Tauno Veevo was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of GD JULIO DINIS booed when FC Viplala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauno Veevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvo Lapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvo Lapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mait Vask in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mait Vask to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Rauno Kampura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Viplala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rauno Kampura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mait Vask in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Arvo Lapp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Passos. GD JULIO DINIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvo Lapp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 64th minute Norberto Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jüri Alango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Sérgio Passos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Geraldo Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Mait Vask came free, but Sérgio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save GD JULIO DINIS from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Viplala's Mait Vask slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sérgio Passos. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. Raul Laud's late challenge caught a GD JULIO DINIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Laud helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Laud hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The FC Viplala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Viplala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
