Wojciech Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Santana in the 4th minute of play. Valter Ventura took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojciech Szczęsny. Wojciech Szczęsny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Geraldo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Golembiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wladyslaw Mios lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Caldeira during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Cássio Caldeira got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Valter Ventura hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Mariano Álvares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Leszek Golembiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koniec Gry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Golembiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Valter Ventura notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Koniec Gry's Wojciech Szczęsny. Wojciech Szczęsny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Przemyslaw Latocha hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Valter Ventura made a precise shot to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny. Koniec Gry's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Valter Ventura scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Santana was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Geraldo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD JULIO DINIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Szczęsny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Koniec Gry's Przemyslaw Latocha got a free kick in the 55th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Mourinho in the 56th minute of play. Diamantino Mourinho charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Mourinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Diamantino Mourinho hit a great ball. Leszek Golembiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Passos having to interfere. Wojciech Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mariano Álvares sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Koniec Gry's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Ventura came free, but Wojciech Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Vargas scored 0-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Koniec Gry's Wojciech Szczęsny got control of the ball when Norberto Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafim Bezerra during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The GD JULIO DINIS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GD JULIO DINIS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
