Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Jairo Astigar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Generoso Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Orixe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Tuste in the 4th minute of play. Generoso Nabar made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Kaxen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Isidoro Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mazorca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Evaristo Cidro hit a great ball. Generoso Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Astigar in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Clodoveo Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Orixe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Tuste succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo 11's Lázaro Txilar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Nabar. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. In the 46th minute Clodoveo Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Orixe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Tuste was the one to do the kick off. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
