Umberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo 11's Raimundo Osorio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Enio Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Enio Guerra. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo 11's zone, Dieguinho dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Orixe came out of the goal and Dieguinho dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Jairo Astigar made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half San Lorenzo 11 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Umberto Cruz was a little too slow when Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli got free with Umberto Cruz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo 11's Gualterio Aragones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umberto Cruz. That made the score 0-8 after 71 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the game, Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Umberto Cruz. Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. With his leg Umberto Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when San Lorenzo 11's Jairo Astigar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Umberto Cruz was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Jairo Astigar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Astigar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Umberto Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli in the 83rd minute. When Luiz Paulo Barral fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s protests and gave Luiz Paulo Barral a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 minutes of play, San Lorenzo 11's Jairo Astigar made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
