When Remigio Lehen came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Moscovi Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Lehen couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Wästerberg in the 14th minute of play. Sebastian Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Roger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aero Björndalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Roger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Distiratsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Aero Björndalen's Niklas Brun got control of the ball when Mariano Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Roger to strike the kick off in the second half.
