Taco Zwartkruis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Cakir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Julien Marxer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Roelfs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eddy Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddy Moser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Cakir in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Zwartkruis saved Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting behind. In the 36thth minute of the game Ernst Cakir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ were awarded a corner. Noah Amadeo Rahel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Luca Tobler getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Roelof van Kampen's late challenge caught a ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roelof van Kampen helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Roelof van Kampen. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roelof van Kampen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Eddy Moser got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Stroobos came free, but Herbert Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Tobler didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Govert Kool was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Cakir in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Mathijs Stroobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Mathijs Stroobos pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Noah Amadeo Rahel fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's protests and gave Noah Amadeo Rahel a yellow card for diving instead. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn made a substitution. Rik Meijs replaced Mathijs Stroobos.
