Betão Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Erik Roelfs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Roelfs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betão Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Roelfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Kool, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Betão Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Roelfs in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Max Winters hit a great ball. Roelof van Kampen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Paulista having to interfere. If Govert Kool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Roelfs in the 45th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerson Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's Diguinho de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taco Zwartkruis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taco Zwartkruis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taco Zwartkruis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barrera 2.0's Gerson Berger. But to his dismay, Gerson Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Govert Kool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Valério Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Barrera 2.0's Adalberto Pinheiro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Roelfs in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Betão Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Erik Roelfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 76th minute, Diguinho de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Furtado came free, but Taco Zwartkruis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Valério Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Taco Zwartkruis. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 84 minutes FC Barrera 2.0's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathijs Stroobos who took care of the corner kick. Mathijs Stroobos made a great header on Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's corner, it was just that FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govert Kool to maneuver through the defense. Erik Roelfs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão Paulista came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Roelfs slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Erik Roelfs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
