After a defensive mix-up in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's zone, Gottfrid Adelsköld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Good came out of the goal and Gottfrid Adelsköld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Bernd Heid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Brun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Julien Marxer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Niklas Brun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf Wipp's late challenge caught a Aero Björndalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Wipp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Ralf Wipp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Wästerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Pio Erne got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ernst Cakirs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Niklas Brun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Cakir in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niklas Brun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Ernst Cakir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aero Björndalen's Niklas Brun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Aero Björndalen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Brian Jakobsson hit a great ball. Sebastian Casutt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niklas Brun. Aero Björndalen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernst Cakir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niklas Brun came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernst Cakir slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernst Cakir to make the kick off. When ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Ernst Cakir in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Bernd Heid came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernd Heid couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Aero Björndalen defense, Julien Marxer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Brun. The Aero Björndalen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Brun should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Pio Erne managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pio Erne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aero Björndalen's Niklas Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Cakir in the 74th minute of play. Niklas Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernd Heid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Bernd Heid made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Brun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Jakobsson came free, but Herbert Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Julien Marxer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Adelsköld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ got a freekick which was hit by Julien Marxer. Herbert Good stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Jakobsson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
