During the 47th minute of the match Orlando Cambranes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Orlando Cambranes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chanchos's zone, Oscar Lalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Dei came out of the goal and Oscar Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cougars FC's attentive Bonifacio Valerio managed to snatch the ball when Amador Janpier made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Gervasio Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chanchos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cougars FC.
