Agustin Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerónimo Rulli having to interfere. Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Grütly booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Cefero in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerónimo Rulli saved Maravilla from getting behind. Jeronimo Solustiano charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Solustiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Jeronimo Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ernesto Urtsua made the kick off in the second half. If Godfredo Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Gerónimo Rulli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerónimo Rulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Lia went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.
