After 30 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Martinez. 39 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Munio came free, but Gerónimo Rulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Celestino Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerónimo Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Munio was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ariando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerónimo Rulli was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ernesto Urtsua got in the 61st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lucio Hernandez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nina fc's Mariano Millan got a free kick in the 64th minute. Celestino Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gerónimo Rulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Celestino Munio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gerónimo Rulli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Nina fc booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sergio Locaio in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maravilla's Vladimiro Ondino. 76 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Vladimiro Ondino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Hernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernesto Urtsua's late challenge caught a Nina fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Urtsua helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Enzo Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Nina fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maravilla.
