When Ernesto Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Urtsua couldn't finish the play. Thomas Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Kåre Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Orion having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Sjöberg. Kåre Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Urtsua in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Hägglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cornelio Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Onsala Ass Kickers's Edwin Sjöberg in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maravilla's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kåre Bruhn was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cornelio Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Hägglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Onsala Ass Kickers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Ernesto Urtsua scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Hägglund, making the score, 0-1. Thomas Hägglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Urtsua in the 69th minute. In the 71st match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Ondino to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Agustín Orion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Ondino. Maravilla's Agustín Orion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Bruhn in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes, Vladimiro Ondino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Onsala Ass Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Although Onsala Ass Kickers had been in control for most of the match, Maravilla still came away with the win.
