The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's zone, Edwin Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Ihazintu came out of the goal and Edwin Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Edwin Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lider Arre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Bruhn came free, but Felix Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Stenberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Onsala Ass Kickers from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lider Arre managed to get in a good position for a shot. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lider Arre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Hägglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Prospero Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edwin Sjöberg sped through NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Ihazintu. In the 37th minute, Edwin Sjöberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Ihazintu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 41 played minutes NANANANA LIIIDEER FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Lider. If Lider Arre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Guter scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Hägglund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Guter was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Billing to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Lider Nanuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onsala Ass Kickers the free kick. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when NANANANA LIIIDEER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lider Nanuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onsala Ass Kickers's Kåre Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Ihazintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Siro Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hägglund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 70th minute of play forced NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goalkeeper Felix Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Edwin Sjöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Ihazintu, 1-3. Felix Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Edwin Sjöberg scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ihazintu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Åke Biörkquist. Johannes Stenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Stenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of NANANANA LIIIDEER FC booed when Onsala Ass Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Lider Arre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the game, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Osvaldo Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Hägglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4.
