The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthis Colpaert got free with Thomas Hägglund in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Nordkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 16th minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Armentier in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes Onsala Ass Kickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karel-Jan De Coninck who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Charlie Godts drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper. Matthis Colpaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. de belletrekkers were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Onsala Ass Kickers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karel-Jan De Coninck took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Onsala Ass Kickers's zone, Matthis Colpaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Hägglund came out of the goal and Matthis Colpaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristiaan Dirickx was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee gave Onsala Ass Kickers a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filip Valler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthis Colpaert to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Remco Baekelandt got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Matthis Colpaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Hägglund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Charlie Godts's late challenge caught a Onsala Ass Kickers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Godts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Charlie Godts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Remco Baekelandt hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Filip Valler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Pihlwall's late challenge caught a de belletrekkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Pihlwall helped the player get up and apologised. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Edwin Sjöberg sent off a good shot on target. Matthis Colpaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hägglund having to interfere. Filip Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde got control of the ball when Filip Valler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristiaan Van de Velde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Valler in the 94th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. de belletrekkers were victorious despite being under pressure from Onsala Ass Kickers for much of the match.
