Grütly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mårten Botvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Odon in the 15th minute of play forced FC Hans's goalkeeper Eric Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Odon got free with Eric Eckegren in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Ingmar Alkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Lamberto in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes FC Hans's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Guillem who took care of the corner kick. After 32 minutes, Mario Ramone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grütly and the FC Hans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Pereyra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörn Ekeberg went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Torgny Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Grütly's Agustin Lamberto in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Grütly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The FC Hans players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
