The long shot by Esteban Ioritz in the 79th minute really tested Naci Ünüvar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Quitilipi's Geronimo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geale van den Brink in the 81st minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quitilipi! S.C. Potentia were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geale van den Brink took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ronny Roewen got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Esteban Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Quitilipi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quitilipi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
