Job Bot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th play minute Fernando Waterreus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Strugure. 1-0. Job Bot struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ivan Strugure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Potentia. Naci Ünüvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Paraschivescu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Job Bot's late challenge caught a Vama Veche ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Job Bot helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Iurie Negrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vama Veche ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Iurie Negrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naci Ünüvar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Strugure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Job Bot, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Naci Ünüvar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Adrian Paraschivescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Ünüvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Vama Veche ™ got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Negrescu. After having played for 30 minutes, Job Bot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Job Bot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Paraschivescu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Paraschivescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Vama Veche ™ got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Paraschivescu. Ivan Strugure was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Job Bot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Job Bot really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Geale van den Brink's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Strugure firmly grabbed it by the left post. Naci Ünüvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Negrescu in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Job Bot in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes, Dinu Cotuțiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vama Veche ™ and the S.C. Potentia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dinu Cotuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geale van den Brink in the 56th minute of play. S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Negrescu in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Geale van den Brink came free, but Ivan Strugure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Strugure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geale van den Brink in the 80th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, S.C. Potentia's Geale van den Brink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Strugure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vama Veche ™'s zone, Gregor Ranzijn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Strugure came out of the goal and Gregor Ranzijn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geert Meurs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ivan Strugure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Job Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Strugure having to interfere. Vama Veche ™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
