Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Hector Silvanito started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 12 minutes into the game, Quitilipi's Amadeo Cresencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico Abraão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Robustiano Ulizes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nico Abraão. Xurupita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Ulizes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Belmiro Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nico Abraão came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Hector Silvanito. But to his dismay, Hector Silvanito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 36 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Salvatore. In the 38th minute, Belmiro Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Xurupita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Meirelles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eliseu Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Marcus Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marcus Meirelles hit a great ball. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Meirelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Marcus Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Amadeo Cresencio took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Nico Abraão to make any attempt to save it. Hector Silvanito struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Nico Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quitilipi. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Linhares in the 92nd minute of play. If Eliseu Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Quitilipi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Xurupita FC.
