Naci Ünüvar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Lesiecki having to interfere. Tomasz Pstrongowski kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With 12 minutes on the clock, Ronny Roewen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Heemskerk AC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pankracy Modrzewski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.C. Potentia's Job Bot. 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Geale van den Brink notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Heemskerk AC's Stefan Lesiecki. Stefan Lesiecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. S.C. Potentia's Job Bot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Kolbe in the 28th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Gregor Ranzijn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Potentia and the Heemskerk AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregor Ranzijn kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. S.C. Potentia's Job Bot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Niedziela in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Geale van den Brink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geale van den Brink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.C. Potentia's Ruud Schokkenbroek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Modesto Iratxo, made in the 35th minute of the game. Geale van den Brink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Stefan Lesiecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Ruud Schokkenbroek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heemskerk AC the free kick. Job Bot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Kolbe in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Wesley de Coninck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Heemskerk AC booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruud Schokkenbroek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Veenema. 63 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Kolbe came free, but Job Bot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geale van den Brink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stefan Lesiecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartlomiej Niedziela came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Job Bot could save by the left post. S.C. Potentia's Job Bot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Potentia from getting a goal against them. Job Bot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Wincenty Kolbe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Job Bot. Wincenty Kolbe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Casper Thole hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Heemskerk AC's Pankracy Modrzewski tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Kolbe in the 88th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Job Bot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geale van den Brink in the 96th minute of play forced Heemskerk AC's goalkeeper Stefan Lesiecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Heemskerk AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Heemskerk AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
