The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Cângea in the 4th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Job Bot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Job Bot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Urseanu in the 7th minute of play. Bob Hindriks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Tarcea having to interfere. Naci Ünüvar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adrian Tarcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yboy Black's Adrian Tarcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Ünüvar in the 22nd minute of play. Răzvan Cângea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Job Bot made a huge save. In the 26th minute Mugur Urseanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Job Bot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Irinel Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Job Bot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Vincent Veenema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Yboy Black's Aaron Chuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Job Bot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yboy Black reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Cângea got free with Job Bot in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugur Urseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 minutes, Ronny Roewen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Potentia and the Yboy Black players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronny Roewen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Răzvan Cângea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Job Bot. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naci Ünüvar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mugur Urseanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yboy Black fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Valentin Runcu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Runcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Valentin Runcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geale van den Brink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the S.C. Potentia defense, Mugur Urseanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Job Bot. The S.C. Potentia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Job Bot should have stopped the shot. When Naci Ünüvar came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the S.C. Potentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naci Ünüvar couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Mugur Urseanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Job Bot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yboy Black's Eric Gogu got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Naci Ünüvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregor Ranzijn during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Ranzijn to maneuver through the defense. Job Bot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Runcu in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Răzvan Cângea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Job Bot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yboy Black were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.C. Potentia for a fine match.
