When Szilárd Csikós fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szombathely Squirrels's protests and gave Szilárd Csikós a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szilárd Csikós to maneuver through the defense. Máté Medve came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Nicasio Ongile. But to his dismay, Nicasio Ongile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnaldo Macerio. Arnaldo Macerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when EL CERVECERO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Arnaldo Macerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 22 minutes EL CERVECERO F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferenc Jászberényi who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when EL CERVECERO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dénes Boross struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Arnaldo Macerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szombathely Squirrels. Antonio Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Dénes Boross had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Macerio. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dénes Boross was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Máté Medve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Isaio in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusztáv Győrffy to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Ongile was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Zsolt Vörös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Dolcet was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mihály Csontos hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Dénes Boross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Ospetsu hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Dénes Boross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arnaldo Macerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Szilárd Csikós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dénes Boross in the 75th minute of play. Arnaldo Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dénes Boross in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Krisztián György hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zsolt Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Omar Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dénes Boross in the 92nd minute of play. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
