Ortíz Relloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Saldanha in the 11th minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Ortíz Relloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Erick Inclan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANTERANOS DMS and the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CANTERANOS DMS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erick Inclan hit a great ball. In the 14th play minute Chiriboga Campuzano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nildo Messias. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Hílton de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Ortíz Relloso. CANTERANOS DMS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 25th match minute, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Chiriboga Campuzano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nildo Messias. The goal made the score 3-1. If Luís Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Nildo Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erick Inclan. In the 34th minute, Giovani Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as CANTERANOS DMS's Erick Inclan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nildo Messias. That made the score 4-1 after 36 minutes of play. The supporters of CANTERANOS DMS booed when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nildo Messias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damian Massana. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofilio Horreo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nildo Messias. That made the score 5-1 in the 42 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ortíz Relloso came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Jonathan Saldanha. But to his dismay, Jonathan Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Nildo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Inclan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erick Inclan scored 6-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, CANTERANOS DMS's Erick Inclan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nildo Messias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. After some careless play in the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ defense, Chiriboga Campuzano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nildo Messias. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nildo Messias should have stopped the shot. Tiaguinho Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Teofilio Horreo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANTERANOS DMS's protests and gave Teofilio Horreo a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes CANTERANOS DMS got a freekick which was hit by Teofilio Horreo. In the 86th minute Tiaguinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortíz Relloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes, CANTERANOS DMS's Damian Massana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nildo Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CANTERANOS DMS reached it. Teofilio Horreo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo Messias. Nildo Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CANTERANOS DMS fully deserved thier win.
