Celso Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiriboga Campuzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. CANTERANOS DMS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damian Massana in the 20th minute. Alejandro Medina hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Delmiro Castel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ortíz Relloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Eugenio Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Rafael Quizan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CANTERANOS DMS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventud Antoniana the free kick. In the 31st minute, Rigoberto Mannie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventud Antoniana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ortíz Relloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Mannie in the 34th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmiro Castel was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CANTERANOS DMS's zone, Israel Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ortíz Relloso came out of the goal and Israel Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Damian Massana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Demario. Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ortíz Relloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Mannie in the 58th minute of the match. Chiriboga Campuzano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Celso Demario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANTERANOS DMS. In the 64th minute, Rigoberto Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Israel Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Inclan in the 75th minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Celso Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CANTERANOS DMS defense, Delmiro Castel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ortíz Relloso. The CANTERANOS DMS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ortíz Relloso should have stopped the shot. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Roque Oihan replaced Alejandro Medina. In the 84th minute Rigoberto Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortíz Relloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juventud Antoniana's Rigoberto Mannie managed to work through CANTERANOS DMS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rigoberto Mannie dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 92nd match minute, Juventud Antoniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Castel to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the CANTERANOS DMS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventud Antoniana.
