The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Elite™- FC Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Mannie hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Nicolas Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Demario having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Rigoberto Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Glauco Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Glauco Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Hermínio Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glauco Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Castel in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Amílton Reis hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Juventud Antoniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Tabb to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Bezerra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, João Pedro Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Mannie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventud Antoniana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 45th minute, João Pedro Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Hernando hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Castel to make the kick off. When Nicolas Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Elite™- FC Galácticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Mendes couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Mannie struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Glauco Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventud Antoniana. Mateus Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Paraibano in the 60th minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Celso Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Glauco Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Castel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Glauco Soeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alejandro Medina's late challenge caught a Elite™- FC Galácticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Medina helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Medina hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Rigoberto Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventud Antoniana's protests and gave Rigoberto Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Roque Oihan replaced Alejandro Medina. After 84 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Hernando. Charles Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Celso Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delmiro Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Elite™- FC Galácticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juventud Antoniana's performance. The match ended with a win for Juventud Antoniana.
