Nildo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Valadares in the 4th minute of the match. Nildo Messias came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsicha's Ediberto Munhoz. But to his dismay, Ediberto Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kléberson Ceresso's late challenge caught a SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Velloso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manoel Correia. After having played for 14 minutes, Luís Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nildo Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Frederico de Mendonça scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Carlos Melo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nildo Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsicha. Nildo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico de Mendonça in the 28th minute of the match. Chelsicha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Marco Marinho scored to the left of an out of position Diogo Velloso, making the score, 1-3. Nildo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nildo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico de Mendonça in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diogo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Saldanha in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ediberto Munhoz hit a great ball. Nildo Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Melo in the 58th minute. Antônio Carlos Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chelsicha's Marcelo Mangueira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Nildo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Valadares in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Valadares came free, but Nildo Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Nildo Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ defense, Vágner Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nildo Messias. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nildo Messias should have stopped the shot. Noel de Amaral was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nildo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico de Mendonça in the 87th minute of the match. Frederico de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Nildo Messias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 88 played minutes SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Saldanha. Nildo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vágner Valadares was slow to take the kick. During this time Chelsicha's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Chelsicha's Marcelo Mangueira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 95 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Nildo Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Paraense.
