An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Geylan in the 12th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Lennart Koekkoek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reis Ünsal to maneuver through the defense. Rudi Zwartkruis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Kadim Yağızbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çanakkale and the Sheep United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sheep United booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadim Yağızbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Martijn van Alst came free, but Ferdi Kargin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Koekkoek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Mehmet came free, but Lennart Koekkoek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdi Kargin made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Henk van der Schans sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Deput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Sheep United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Çanakkale were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martijn van Alst was the one to do the kick off. Lennart Koekkoek made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Reis Ünsal sent off a good shot on target. After 52 minutes of play, Çanakkale's Reis Ünsal made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Koekkoek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Çanakkale's Ferdi Kargin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn van Alst in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Fabian Deput took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Lennart Koekkoek to make any attempt to save it. Lennart Koekkoek was a little too slow when Doğaner Geylan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-8. Murathan Mehmet charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murathan Mehmet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murathan Mehmet kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lennart Koekkoek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reis Ünsal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 77 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Doğaner Geylan notched a goal, 1-11, to the right of Sheep United's Lennart Koekkoek. Lennart Koekkoek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Doğaner Geylan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-13. Lennart Koekkoek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute of the match Mustafa Kemal Oncu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Koekkoek skillfully saved the ball. Lennart Koekkoek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğaner Geylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Sheep United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Çanakkale were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
