The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hartmann Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luiz Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anacleto Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Lopez in the 16th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Anacleto Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blasco Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Lope in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Gugu Coutinho got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Wesley Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anacleto Lauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Lopez came free, but Anacleto Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blasco Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Heriberto in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Pedro Luiz Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Lauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Anacleto Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Wesley Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. After the first half Hartmann Futebol Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anacleto Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Secco's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Anacleto Lauro got control of the ball when Aloísio Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Scaloneta's Anacleto Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Secco in the 56th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Amauri de Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hartmann Futebol Clube and the La Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Lauro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Faustino Xabel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Amato to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Lopez in the 95th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Anacleto Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hartmann Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
