Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Francisco Garcia made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Garcia in the 3rd minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Curcio Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Hawk Football Club's Luciano Sauca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olavo Vasconcelos but with some difficulty. Francisco Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curcio Labarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Garcia went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Red Hawk Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Viladrosa to maneuver through the defense. When Luizinho Castro fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportiva Paulo Afonso's protests and gave Luizinho Castro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Red Hawk Football Club booed when Desportiva Paulo Afonso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Renatinho Braga got a free kick in the 31st minute. Olavo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xove Encina in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Renatinho Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's supporters rose to their feet, but Renatinho Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curcio Labarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Desportiva Paulo Afonso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleix Puigdellivol to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Garcia to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Francisco Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Curcio Labarra. Red Hawk Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Renatinho Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Curcio Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Hawk Football Club's Luciano Sauca got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Aleix Puigdellivol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Hawk Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 77th match minute, Red Hawk Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Curcio Labarra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernandinho Paes. When Oriol Riera fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Oriol Riera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Oriol Riera hit a great ball. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Olavo Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Riera in the 86th minute of play. Xove Encina charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xove Encina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Desportiva Paulo Afonso got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Castro. 93 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's Aleix Puigdellivol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aleix Puigdellivol kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Red Hawk Football Club lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
