The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Pires during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when ADCR Loreto United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Joystick XXXV's Leonel Eufemio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilário Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, ADCR Loreto United FC's Almiro Casado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Almiro Casado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benigno Abancens came out and tried to block the shot, but Almiro Casado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Gago during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Donato Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Parente lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Joystick XXXV. Leonel Eufemio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hilário Salgado. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Lidon in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilário Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benigno Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albino Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Aldo Mourinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Vítor Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vítor Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilário Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Rufo in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joystick XXXV's Benigno Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Dantas in the 53rd minute of play. Carlos Pires hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Joystick XXXV's goalkeeper Benigno Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Donato Gago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Donato Gago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Gago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Carlos Pires got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Dantas. Hilário Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Donato Gago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Abancens having to make a save. Donato Gago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Joystick XXXV's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Dantas came free, but Benigno Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aldo Mourinho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the ADCR Loreto United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Mourinho couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the ADCR Loreto United FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
