Francesco Ferretti took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Vasconcelos. Raimundo Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rezende in the 30th minute of the match. Francisco Garcia hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With 40 minutes on the clock, Anderson Tavares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Desportiva Paulo Afonso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The Desportiva Paulo Afonso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kalessin were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renatinho Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Nicholas in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Vasconcelos saved Desportiva Paulo Afonso from getting behind. Francesco Ferretti took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Vasconcelos.
