Hayri İlksen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meng Ran in the 4th minute. The Estrela Solitária fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Estrela Solitária's Ruud Gullit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute, Estrela Solitária's Téo de Castro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hayri İlksen. Hayri İlksen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Milosz Kluska took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Durdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Cemal Erdurmus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Milosz Kluska was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Meng Ran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samsunspor's Hayri İlksen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meng Ran in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Meng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayri İlksen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayri İlksen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Gullit in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Meng Ran got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Ömür Akkın made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Meng Ran notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Samsunspor's Hayri İlksen. Hayri İlksen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Karadeniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayri İlksen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruud Gullit went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Samsunspor's Hayri İlksen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo de Castro in the 68th minute of play. Ruud Gullit took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayri İlksen. Hayri İlksen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Téo de Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayri İlksen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo de Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selman Alptekin during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81stth minute of the game Téo de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samsunspor's Hayri İlksen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Meng Ran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. In the 93rdth minute of the game Meng Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samsunspor's Hayri İlksen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Estrela Solitária got a corner. Samsunspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meng Ran ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 98th minute Meng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayri İlksen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estrela Solitária had played much better football throughout.
