When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Barnaba Latkiewicz sped through Samsunspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hayri İlksen. In the 19th minute, Barnaba Latkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1909 Tarnovia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Hayri İlksen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Witomir Olejarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arkadiusz Buczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arkadiusz Buczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayri İlksen having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Gondek to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Buczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Tymoteusz Gondek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayri İlksen came out of the goal and Tymoteusz Gondek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Arkadiusz Buczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Ertaç Elçin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Borys Majorski put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Hayri İlksen. If Arkadiusz Buczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to 1909 Tarnovia getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zachary Kalinowski hit a great ball. 1909 Tarnovia's Roch Frankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ömür Akkın in the 95th minute of play. The Samsunspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1909 Tarnovia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
