In the 4th minute Barnaba Latkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milosz Kluska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero Abreu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo de Castro in the 8th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Roch Frankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Ran hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Wieslaw Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meng Ran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Roch Frankowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fernando Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Cícero Abreu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Witomir Olejarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milosz Kluska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1909 Tarnovia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Téo de Castro scored to the left of an out of position Roch Frankowski, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruud Gullit got free with Roch Frankowski in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wieslaw Tscherner to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Drozdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Olejarz scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milosz Kluska, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estrela Solitária's Milosz Kluska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Rosiewicz in the 94th minute of play.
