In the 15th minute of the match, Pawel Kieca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bartosz Bednorz sent off a good shot on target. Selman Alptekin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Kryspin Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Bambas took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Birsel Emekli hit a great ball. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Kryspin Bambas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kryspin Bambas really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbyszko Gizynski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan. That made the score 5-0 in the 27 minute of play. Kryspin Bambas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Bednorz in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Zbyszko Gizynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Pawel Kieca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Semi Düden took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Klawke. Stefan Klawke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Bambas to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hakkı Karadeniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ the free kick. The supporters of ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Karadeniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bartosz Bednorz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartosz Bednorz couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Bartosz Bednorz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan. Samsunspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartosz Bednorz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Mehmet Hakkı Karadeniz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Zbyszko Gizynski made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Cumhur Yıldızhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Pawel Kieca in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
