After having played for 46 minutes, Tobiasz Cuber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Cuber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Gigi Riva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela Solitária's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid the free kick. Gigi Riva kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Tobiasz Cuber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
