Zarco Galvão hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira got control of the ball when Hugo Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Abel Meira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rui Semedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, FC Beatriz 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Semedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Tadeu Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Falcão Azevedo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute Tadeu Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeu Custódio to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Beatriz 08's zone, Tadeu Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Meira came out of the goal and Tadeu Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Rui Semedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Azevedo in the 79th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Abel Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Porto in the 82nd minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Maranhense's late challenge caught a FC Beatriz 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
