After 16 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Matro. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Eduard Glodeanu got a free kick in the 20th minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dinu Aursulesei made the kick off in the second half. When Dinu Aursulesei came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Purcaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Aursulesei couldn't finish the play. Purcaresti CSS's Eugen Tiberiu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Eugen Tiberiu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eugen Tiberiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Quentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugen Tiberiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Plaza Jewell's Aldo Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Aursulesei in the 63rd minute of play. Aldo Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Tiberiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Fidensio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Narciso Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eugen Tiberiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Tiberiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Tiberiu in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Domingo Fidensio hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Tiberiu came free, but Aldo Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Modesto Efraim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plaza Jewell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purcaresti CSS the free kick. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them.
