In the 9th minute, Andrei Tirulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Custódio, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Eugen Tiberiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Abreu, 1-0. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Narciso Abreu got control of the ball when Dinu Aursulesei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Dinu Aursulesei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purcaresti CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Damian Toader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu Custódio went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Murillo Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Toader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Eduard Glodeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Purcaresti CSS's Dinu Aursulesei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Abreu. Narciso Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dinu Aursulesei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Aursulesei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Paulo dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasiliense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purcaresti CSS the free kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Aursulesei was the one to do the kick off. Purcaresti CSS's Dinu Aursulesei got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Murillo Couto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader didn't even have to move. 58 minutes into the match, Eugen Tiberiu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Brasiliense FC's Narciso Abreu. Narciso Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugen Tiberiu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Narciso Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. In the 66th minute, Falcão Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Eugen Tiberiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Abreu. Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Tiberiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Gigi Drăgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Toader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Azevedo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Purcaresti CSS had played much better football throughout.
