Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Modesto Efraim started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes, Carlos Alberto Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUIZ PANATO and the Plaza Jewell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Si Quan in the 10th minute of the match. Juninho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Modesto Efraim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aldo Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Si Quan in the 19th minute of play. LUIZ PANATO's Walmir Freire was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Quentin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 23 minutes, Fan Si Quan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Plaza Jewell's Aldo Quentin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Milio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingo Fidensio's late challenge caught a LUIZ PANATO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. LUIZ PANATO's Teodoro Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fan Si Quan to make the kick off. If Guga Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of LUIZ PANATO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plaza Jewell:s goal. When Fan Si Quan fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LUIZ PANATO's protests and gave Fan Si Quan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Fan Si Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juninho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Fan Si Quan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aldo Quentin, passed just outside the right post. Narciso Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Matro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 87th minute of the match Narciso Matro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Narciso Matro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 87 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Matro. In the 97th match minute, LUIZ PANATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Berger to maneuver through the defense.
