But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Lago couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Christiano de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the Soucar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Benja Pascua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th minute, Aimar Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Mangas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei Teixeira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Mangas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Sidnei Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Teixeira in the 27th minute of play. Eloy Mangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Sidnei Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Mangas was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Soucar FC defense, Gualter Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Mangas. The Soucar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Mangas should have stopped the shot. Eloy Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Teixeira in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Aimar Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sidnei Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Eloy Mangas made a huge save. In the 64thth minute of the game Sidnei Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Lago in the 67th minute of play. Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Soucar FC from getting a goal against them. Soucar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. A collision led to Soucar FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Benja Pascua hit a great ball. Washington Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
