Miguel Arixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bernabe Vito made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Juventus Argentina FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Vito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Arixo. Bernardo Mingo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernabe Vito came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Mingo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Bernardo Mingo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Gimnasia y tiro's Miguel Arixo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernabe Vito. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Bernabe Vito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Arixo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to Gimnasia y tiro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Epifanio Innocenzio hit a great ball. Hilario Ubendu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Oidor in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Igor Ramond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 36th minute, Bernardo Mingo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Vito. The goal made the score 5-0. In the 39th minute Bernardo Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Vito made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Miguel Arixo sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Bernabe Vito managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Gimnasia y tiro's Miguel Arixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Marco Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Bernabe Vito was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Juventus Argentina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Arixo came free, but Bernabe Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Damaso Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gimnasia y tiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Benvido couldn't finish the play. Juventus Argentina FC's Cristobal Peyo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hilario Ubendu but with some difficulty. There was no doubt that Gimnasia y tiro were the better team. Gimnasia y tiro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
