Gimnasia y tiro's Hilario Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Estebe in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Mambru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Ubendu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Gimnasia y tiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AL TOKE FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Gimnasia y tiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Ubendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Seguinus in the 32nd minute of the match. AL TOKE FC's Albano Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Arixo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Gimnasia y tiro got a corner. AL TOKE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanio Innocenzio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eloy Seguinus scored 0-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Ubendu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Froilan Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Hilario Ubendu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
