When Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's protests and gave Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Rios to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nejat Akbilge during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nejat Akbilge hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Artemio Goiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkan Eğilmez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Antonio Mundo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Berkan Eğilmez to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes into the match, Artemio Goiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkan Eğilmez. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Goiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 20th minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berkan Eğilmez. Berkan Eğilmez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Berkan Eğilmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Formerio in the 25th minute of play. Berkan Eğilmez came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Antonio Mundo. But to his dismay, Antonio Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 30 minutes into the match, Artemio Goiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berkan Eğilmez, 7-0. In the 35th minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berkan Eğilmez. Berkan Eğilmez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. 38 minutes into the game, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Antonio Mundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkan Eğilmez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After some careless play in the BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 defense, Artemio Goiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Eğilmez. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Eğilmez should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Apolo Richie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berkan Eğilmez. Apolo Richie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 11-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 11-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ziya Onur Yıldız made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Antonio Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Berkan Eğilmez. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. When Nejat Akbilge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. In the 60th match minute, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Akbilge to maneuver through the defense. The NEWELL´S OLD BOYS fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Antonio Mundo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ümit Vefai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 defense, Antonio Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Eğilmez. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Eğilmez should have stopped the shot. Berkan Eğilmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Artemio Goiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkan Eğilmez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 18-0. Berkan Eğilmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute Apolo Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Eğilmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkan Eğilmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Richie in the 95th minute of the match.
