Fernando Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Aldo Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16th play minutes Aldo Ekain shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Wellington Donatello and just under the crossbar into goal. Wanderson Leal came free in the 22nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Fernando Cefero, but to the joy of Chacarita Jrs's supporters the ball went over. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Álvaro Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Cefero came out of the goal and Álvaro Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A nice corner shot did that Luciano Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Cefero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 33 minutes, Arturo Berart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita Jrs and the SUPERSTAR - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arturo Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Bittencourt in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Cefero saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. After 40 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Bittencourt. Bonifacio Gartxot made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nestor Eskuin however managed to control. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Edgar Guerra got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Paes. 60 minutes into the game, Toninho Paes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Jrs the free kick. After 60 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Paes. If Wanderson Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fernando Cefero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SUPERSTAR - DMZ. Wanderson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute of the game Bonifacio Gartxot made a throw-in which Nestor Eskuin played forward. 79 minutes into the match, Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Fernando Cefero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Bittencourt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Ekain in the 83rd minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Bittencourt in the 91st minute of the match. Toninho Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fernando Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
