The tension between the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- and the Chacarita Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Marius Cucerdean looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. During the 33rd minute of the match Eugen Butuc completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eugen Butuc a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Eugen Butuc got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Valentin Pamfil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Cefero came out of the goal and Valentin Pamfil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Marius Cucerdean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Cucerdean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fernando Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Cucerdean in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- booed when Chacarita Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Eskuin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Marius Cucerdean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Cucerdean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Marius Cucerdean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Mihnea Elefteriu fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s protests and gave Mihnea Elefteriu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Nestor Eskuin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Narcis Cozorici didn't even have to move. When Marius Cucerdean came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Cucerdean couldn't finish the play.
